The Prophecy of Stillness

An old man sheltering himself from a furious mountain storm in a small cave is suddenly blinded by a lightening strike so close the smell of smoking rock was the last thing he remembered as he passed into shock and darkness.
How long he be there we do not know. What we know is what he saw when he opened his eyes again. He beheld a darkening sky crowded with all creatures, peoples and worlds. They were moving in front of his eyes. Some were reaching out into the void others were silent. And then everything and everyone began slowing down, quickly slowing down as if all were suspended in hardening amber and it was clear that a time would come when no one will be able to move. It will stop.
A time would come when no one will be able to move.
The old man lite his pipe and prayed to understand the flood of meaning and he saw the way of it. This is the time when you want to be where you want to be, with who you want to be with, for it is the End of One and the Beginning of Another.
Go where you want to be, with Whom you want to be with.
This is the time of No Change and the hardening of the world is the fruit of hardened minds and hearts. It is a time when many will not be able to Change their Minds. A plague of dead, useless and self centered ideas has frozen the minds and spirits of many. It is the Stillness before Dawn.
People will not be able to Change their Minds.
In the stillness of one another we will meet ourselves.
